The Stauffer Family

At the beginning of June, Myka and James Stauffer, White vloggers and influencers, announced that they "rehomed" Huxley, their autistic Asian son. This has ignited the adoptee community into an uproar, and many people, including adoptive parents, have expressed disapproval of their decision. We wanted to provide a space for discussion after hearing many Asian adoptees expressing interest in such an event. FCCNY welcomes all YA Asian adoptees (18+) who want to share their thoughts and feelings concerning Myka and James Stauffer's controversial decision.

This event will take place on August 16th at 7:30 PM EST.
