FCC Dutchess/Ulster

2015 Chinese Culture Camp

Welcome to the 9th year of our summer camp program! Your children are invited to spend a week with us exploring the many aspects of China.

Sirena Wu is back with us again, and will lead the kids in a fun-filled and educational week.

She has run Chinese culture camps in Louisville, Kentucky and locally, and has many great ideas to teach our kids about the language, crafts, games and cooking of China and Taiwan.

The curriculum is designed for children ages ‘kindergarten-ready’ through about 12 years old.

Date:   Monday to Friday, July 13-17.

Lunch & snacks will be provided.   (Sorry, no special diets can be accommodated, but children can bring their own lunch if desired.)

Time:  Drop-off is from 9 – 10 a.m., and the camp program runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

(An end-of-camp show is presented for families at1 p.m. on Friday, July 17.)

Place:  Christ the King Church, 2 Eugene Brown Drive (off Route 32 south by Lenape Elementary School) New Paltz, NY

** Same location as the past two years in Ulster County **

Cost & Registration*:  $110 for first child and $85 for other children in the family, if paid in full by May 10, 2015 (early-bird special).  After that date, $120 for first child and $95 for other children.  Deadline is June 10, 2015, for all registrations.

We’ve had to adjust rates slightly (the first time in the run of the camp) to cover rising costs.

Reduced fees may be possible in cases of extreme need. Please let us know if you have a special situation.

* In addition, each family must be a member of FCC-NY.

We are able to keep the camp tuition so low because of our affiliation with FCC of Greater New York, which provides grants and insurance for our program. Therefore, each camp family must be a member of FCC-NY.New membership and membership renewals can be completed online at the recently updated websiteat There are several membership levels, including a Reduced Rate of $20.
