Meet with like-minded people who are interested in Chinese and eager to practice! The Adult Language and Studio Programs at China Institute is launching a new Mandarin Meetup group to welcome everybody into our new location at downtown Manhattan for this summer. With facilitators who are native speakers and are professionally trained in teaching Chinese as a second language, you will get the most out of the meetups.

Expect more? You will get to admire our world-class and well-renowned exhibitions at the Gallery at China Institute (upcoming exhibition opening the end of September). Also, you will get to learn a little bit of Chinese calligraphy with traditional Chinese tea being served freshly hot.... You won't see Mandarin meetup groups like ours anywhere else in NYC!

You don’t need to speak fluent Mandarin to join us at all. Our only expectation? Feel the Chinese culture and language, and enjoy communicating in Mandarin!
