Commemoration 8th Anniversary of Private Danny Chen's Death

Wed, October 3rd marks the 8th Anniversary of Private Danny Chen's death. We must NEVER forget what happened to Danny in order to remind everyone this should NEVER happen to any soldier who serves to protect our country.

We will commemorate his death on Tuesday, October 2, 2019, with a teach-in to fifth-graders at P.S. 130 followed by a march to the corner of Canal and Elizabeth St., Chinatown. From 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., we will have a public commemoration at this corner under the street sign, Private Danny Chen Way.

On Wednesday, October 3rd, at MOCA, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., we will have a panel discussion on the Legacy of Private Danny Chen and current issues facing diversity and inclusion in the military.
